Sadaqaty App & Website User Terms and Conditions

These terms of use are between Akhyar Foundation Limited (Australia) and "you" as the user of the mobile app or website "Sadaqaty". The expression ‘we’ or 'us' refers to Akhyar Foundation Limited and 'you' or 'your' refers to the user of the "Sadaqaty" mobile app or website, which will be referred  to as 'Sadaqaty'.

These terms must be read along with the Privacy Policy before using Sadaqaty, together they govern your use of the Sadaqaty App and website.

  1. Authority to pay Sadaqah on your behalf
    You agree to appoint us your "Wakeel" or "Representative" to pay Sadaqah on your behalf whenever you make a transaction using Sadaqaty.
  2. The Wallet
    Sadaqaty Wallet, referred to as 'the Wallet', is a feature where your wallet points are stored upon top-up and later redeemed upon your transaction when payment method is selected as Wallet. The Wallet acts as a virtual wallet where you can purchase points to be redeemed for subsequent transactions in the App. Your use of the Wallet is governed by these Terms.  If you use the Wallet you are agreeing to the Terms.  If you don’t agree to the Terms you should not continue to use or access the Wallet. You agree that any available points in your wallet is your own property for which you authorize us to redeem and pay Sadaqah on your behalf whenever you request a Sadaqah using Sadaqaty.
  3. Foreign Exchange Policy and Sadaqah Calculation
    We determine foreign exchange rates based on credible market sources. By agreeing to these terms, you authorize us to establish the exchange rate. Any transactions or subscriptions made in currencies other than USD will be converted to USD using our established exchange rates. For subscriptions purchased in currencies other than USD, you authorize us to utilize the foreign exchange rate recorded at the time of subscription purchase or renewal for calculating Sadaqah throughout the subscription period.
  4. Non-usage of Wallet Points
    Non-usage of Wallet points mean that you did not buy any new points or used the points for any transaction using Sadaqaty.
  5. Expiration of Wallet Points
    You agree that Non-usage of Wallet points for a period of 14 months, will lead to expiration of your Wallet points, where we will redeem the points and give equivalent Sadaqah on your behalf. We will be sending a reminder email on your registered user's email address after 12 months of non-usage of your Wallet points to remind you to use the points. In case the wallet points are still unused and reaches the end of 14th month of non-usage, you authorize us that we redeem all your available points in the Wallet and give equivalent Sadaqah on your behalf.
  6. Refund or Transfer of the Wallet Points
    You agree that any the Wallet points are non-refundable and non-transferrable and can only be utilized for redemption for transactions using Sadaqaty.
  7. Updates to the Terms and Conditions of Sadaqaty
    You agree that any newer version of the Terms and Conditions of Sadaqaty you accept will make any previous agreement of the Terms and Conditions of Sadaqaty a null and void.
